Design-Build Philosophy
We represent our clients’ best interests throughout the entire construction process, from pre-construction, design to finalization, serving as the owner’s representative to coordinate and supervise all GC and subcontractors. This extends to scheduling, budgeting, and quality inspections. We create a uniquely hands-off client experience for our clients, who can rest assure that we will realize their vision with flawless execution.
Procurement
DooArchitecture has a deep and wide-ranging network of FF&E vendors, suppliers and furniture brands often used in all our projects. Our relationships with these companies often results in more beneficial prices to our clients.
As a nod to the past and with a clear vision of the future, Alexis Cogul Lleonart, grandson of Angel and son of Aurelio Cogul, revived the Cogul family brand that was first created in Cuba during the 1940’s by Angel Cogul, to create a design and research lab. Originally known as a candy manufacturer, Cogul’s reputation as a forward-thinking industry innovator quickly became the essence of the brand name.
Building on that spirit, Cogul Design Lab seeks to explore the various elements that turn actions into artistry. The aim is to create an artistic space for freethinking and expression, where disruptive ideas can be formed into utilitarian pieces that tie in directly with the practice of architecture as an innate form of expression.
"Not all we do is useful, not all we do is needed, but all we do has a purpose."
