The Ritz Carlton Residences Miami Beach, Florida
The Landing is an L-shaped residence with a centrally unified personality. With the master suite on one side, the main living areas flow seamlessly from one space to the next. An earthy palette is interwoven with natural wicker, wrapping itself around walls and columns in an effort to create a New England beach house aesthetic set into Miami’s energetic coast.
Built-in cabinetry connects the spaces, with wicker-wrapped furniture set into the space to formalize the bounds of each area. Floors are finished in a natural white oak wood. A fire pit sits alongside the open kitchen, hearkening back to more antiquated methods of preparing food while bringing real warmth to the room. The living room faces a private terrace, which features a barbeque for outdoor dining. Inside the master bedroom, an asymmetric treatment creates a beautifully incongruous statement on the wall.
